Welcome to Ranthambore Park
Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national park in Northern India.The park is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, which is about 130 km from Jaipur. Ranthambore National Park was set up as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuaryin 1955, from the start covering a domain of 282 km2 (109 sq mi). It was declared one of the Project Tiger holds in 1973 and moved toward a recreational area on 1 November 1980. In 1984, the adjoining forest areas were reported the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary.
